These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Latin Shop Direct website. By visiting or using this website, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not accept any part of these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the site.
Throughout these terms, “you” and “your” refer to the user, customer, or visitor of this website. “Latin Shop Direct,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to our company. “Parties” refers to both you and us together. Any references in singular, plural, capitalization, or gender-specific wording should be interpreted as interchangeable where appropriate.
International Orders
For orders shipped outside the United States, the recipient is considered the importer of record and is responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in the destination country. Before placing an order, you are responsible for confirming that the products may be legally imported into your country. If you are unsure, please contact your local customs office or relevant authority before ordering.
Unless otherwise stated, international shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Latin Shop Direct does not control these fees and cannot estimate them in advance.
Food Products
Orders shipped to Israel that include food items may require additional documentation. This may include a declaration confirming that the products are for personal use only, will not be transferred to a third party or resold, and will be used at the consignee’s own responsibility. Where required, we may submit this documentation on your behalf.
Beverages
Latin Shop Direct does not sell alcoholic beverages to anyone under the legal drinking age. By using this website to purchase alcohol, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old, or 24 years old where required by local law, including Singapore.
We take reasonable steps to prevent alcohol from being delivered to underage individuals. By placing an order containing alcoholic beverages, you confirm that the recipient is of legal drinking age in the relevant jurisdiction. You also agree that any alcohol purchased is for personal consumption only and not for resale. Orders are limited to two units of each type of beverage.
If you provide false information about your age, whether intentionally or unintentionally, in order to purchase alcohol for someone under the legal age, Latin Shop Direct reserves the right to take any action permitted by law.
Ownership and title to wine transfer to the purchaser at the point of purchase in Argentina and/or Uruguay. From that point onward, the purchaser assumes full responsibility for transport and delivery to the final destination. When Latin Shop Direct arranges transportation, we do so solely as a service on behalf of the purchaser. By using this service, you confirm that your purchase, transport, and receipt of alcoholic beverages comply with all local laws and regulations, that any required permits or fees have been handled, and that you are legally entitled to receive the quantities ordered.
Returns
Due to food safety requirements, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for food products. However, if food items arrive damaged or expired, we will work with you toprovide an appropriate resolution.
For non-food items such as clothing, footwear, and accessories, you may request a return or exchange if the product does not meet your expectations in terms of fit or quality. In these cases, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. If a non-food item is received incorrectly or has a manufacturing defect, Latin Shop Direct will cover the return shipping costs and work to resolve the issue appropriately.
Claims
If you are unhappy with the condition of your order when it arrives, you may submit a claim through any of our official contact channels within 30 days of receiving your package.
Shipping Carriers and Services
At checkout, you may select your preferred shipping carrier and service option. Depending on your location, shipping route, export or import ports, and sorting facilities, additional delays or requirements may arise. In some cases, we may change the selected carrier or service in order to reduce delays. If applicable, a refund for any related difference may be issued.
Shipping Delays
For international orders, you are responsible for ensuring that the products you purchase can be lawfully imported into the destination country. Delivery timeframes shown at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Estimated delivery times may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to strikes, natural disasters, severe weather, war, force majeure events, customs inspections, seasonal congestion, holidays, remote delivery locations, or PO box limitations. Carrier tracking updates and delivery scans may also occasionally be inaccurate.
Please review the shipping estimate provided at checkout for your address. Transit times may be shorter or longer than expected. If your order is urgent or time-sensitive, we recommend contacting us before placing your order.
Missing Packages
If your package is reported missing while in transit, we will open an investigation with the shipping carrier and manage the process carefully on your behalf. We will keep you updated as the claim progresses.
Please note that investigation timelines vary depending on the carrier and are outside our control. We must wait for the carrier’s findings before confirming the appropriate resolution. Even so, we will do our best to help achieve a fair and satisfactory outcome.
